FAQS

In case you were wondering :)

  • A: Anything you want. Whatever makes you feel like the sexiest, weirdest, most romantic version of yourself. Mesh? Glitter? Tulle? Chains? Slippers? Great. We dare you to upstage us. However, no white dresses plz LOL.

  • A: Think garden party meets dance floor meltdown. It starts cute, ends sweaty, and feels like end-of-summer bash.

  • A: There will be drinks, dinner, our elopement video, and some first dances. There will be lights, music, flowers, and games. There may be crying. There will be dancing. No ceremony—just a whole lot of fun.

  • A: We love them, but not tonight. Come be debaucherous and irresponsible (safely)!

  • A: Absolutely. We got you. Drop it in the RSVP and you will not be left nibbling a lettuce leaf like it’s 2009.

  • Kind of. Dress accordingly.

  • Nope! We just want you to come party!

  • We love you. A lot. :)

our intimate elopement

The Journey Begins!

February 23-24

We drove 2 hours south to pick up our RV and then followed i70W through Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and eastern Colorado, stopping to sleep at Love's rest stops along the way.

TELLURIDE, CO

February 25-26

Colorado has lenient marriage laws, and we were able to marry ourselves using our Pup's paw print as the witness signature. We fell in love with this winter wonderland, and it was the perfect half-way point on our cross-country trip. We originally planned on hiking to the frozen waterfall, but the trail was completely covered with snow & ice so we had it in the background instead!

The Next Leg

February 27-28

We Trekked On Driving through the rest of Colorado (with a quick stop at the 4 corners!), the Navajo Nation, Arizona, the Mojave desert, and then north through California to...

BIG SUR, CA

March 1-4

Highway 1 was an incredible, and at times terrifying journey. We orginally settled in at Fernwood Campground in Big Sur, but it was rainy so we explored the nearby coastal cities - Carmel-by-the-Sea and Santa Cruz. On March 4, we shared our wedding vows at Shark Fin Cove in San Jose, then went back to Big Sur for photos.

VEGAS, BBY!

March 5-6

What happens in Vegas.. At this point, we figured we might as well make it a wedding hat trick - and had an insanely FUN wedding ceremony with the king! Truly an unforgettable experience. We ditched the RV and explored the strip, enjoying the Bellagio fountains as we smashed Mon Ami Gabi after our third wedding. We stayed at the Aria, and we were shocked at how pup strutted around the casino like a king. We weren’t shocked that everyone loved him.

The Ride Home

March 7-9

We left Vegas and travelled northeast through Utah, stopping at Zion National Park for a quick hike of the Canyon Overlook Trail. We made one too many stops that put us behind schedule and the last day we had to balls out to get home on time. By the time we made it home, we were EXHAUSTED & OUR WALLETS LIGHT — but our hearts were filled to the brim. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

OUR STORY

We didn’t plan on forever —
just a summer fling.
So, naturally... we fell in love immediately.

& the rest is history

A text turned into a hangout.
The hangout turned into two. Then three.
A toothbrush at his house.
Quiet summer days.
Ideas shared at midnight.
And the quiet knowing that this was something special.

Summer’s end, when flings fizzle
she packed her pink totes and headed for New Hampshire.
His home became a house again,
he missed even the things he thought he wouldn’t.
She sped away, wanting to turn the car around.
And two weeks into fall semester—she did.
Drove twelve straight hours back to him.
At 4 am in the sound of thunder, she burst through his door,
into the relationship that would shape everything.

Every step of the way, we’ve grown together.
We’ve built careers,
crashed through hard moments,
danced in the kitchen,
argued about this very poem (respectfully, LOL)
and loved each other fiercely through it all.

We’ve been building ever since,
nursing our spark every day.

Now we’re throwing a party!!!!!!!!
To dance with everyone who’s danced through life with us.
And to say:
This is for life. Come celebrate with us.
